There hasn’t been a Tarantino flick I liked entirely in 20 years.

I thought he’s doing the Helter Skelter movie next year. So can’t tell if this is real or not. I guess weirder things have happened...I just can’t think of anything weirder offhand!

I would think his weird eye view of things will put an additional dimension to the way the Star trek universe spins.

Yeah....half the cameras will be focused on Lt. Uhura's feet.

With Uma Thurman as Lt. Uhura.

He’s a much MUCH better actor than Shat but I definitely prefer the characters and stories of the original series

Tarantino’s 3-6 with me. The 6 that I count as losses have parts I like but overall I gave them losses

Rumors are spreading faster than fact about Quentin Tarantino in talks to do a Star Trek film.

Quote

Tarantino has required it to be R rated, and Paramount and Abrams agreed to that condition.

As a stand-alone feature in the Trek universe it could prove interesting but this is NOT a fix for Star Trek. The thrill of being explorers, discovery and hard decisions of encountering new life forms is what we need.

Tarantino's insisting on an R-rating proves that he should never be involved with any Star Trek production.

The very essence of Star Trek is the progress of Humanity - personal and societal improvement and exploration as well as the renouncement of our primitive desires.  Tarantino would have the crew of the Enterprise be the exact opposite.

Sigh...Star Trek should be something for all ages. There are sci-fi franchises to get your R rating or how about Tarantino do something original?

Well, the article never said that Tarantino’s script centers around the Enterprise. A “Star Trek” movie (or show for that matter) could mean a whole mess of things.

I don’t think I need a Tarantino Trek film. And I definitely don’t want him messing with the Enterprise characters.

Besides that, Star Trek Beyond got some pretty good reviews. I thought it was decent and a thousand times better than that Into Darkness crap. It at least looked like Trek was headed in the right direction with Beyond.

Like a dark gritty tale that takes place on a Federation planet not involving Starfleet. Except maybe a dead Starfleet officer found in a pool of his blood, the prositute that the police arrested swears she had nothing to do with it.
