Texas King
Did you watch these two movies based on concept albums by The Who and do you like them?

custom55
Yes. Tommy was too kookie for me. I couldn't get through the entire movie. Quadrophenia was ok.
EagleMoon
Yep. Saw both when they originally came to the theater. Probably saw Tommy at least a dozen times and Quadrophenia a handful of times. Love Tommy a bit more because of its craziness. My mom even went to see it with me a few times.
treeduck
Tommy is better, for me anyway. There's more memorable moments and the scenes fit the songs perfectly like Pinball Wizard and Fiddle About, I'm Free, Acid Queen and Tommy Can You Hear Me.
Relayer2112
I think they both suck for the most part, though Tommy sucks a little bit less.
vaportrailer
"Tommy" had Ann Margret! http://actionagogo.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Tommy-Ann-Margret.jpg Although they covered her with beans.

Wil1972
Did you watch these two movies based on concept albums by The Who and do you like them? I've seen Tommy and while it has interesting moments, like seeing Clapton, Tina Turner and Elton John, the film overall is like a mad drug fueled nightmare. Cheesy! And Jack Nicholson singing is ... wow. I haven't seen Quadrophenia. Edited December 5, 2017 by Wil1972

LedRush
I saw both in college and don’t remember a thing about them other than I thought they both sucked. Tommy gets the nod because the music is good, while I don’t like the music in Quadroohenia at all.
Rushian King
Quadrophenia is by far the better movie although Tommy has better songs.
