You don't have to touch someone to sexually assault them.  The same way that domestic violence doesn't have to be physical.  It can be mental as well.

To me, there's a huge difference between choking your chicken in front of people who don't want you to, and actually sexually assaulting someone. Huge.

There's a difference?

Yes, there is.  The first act is that of a narcissistic, vulgar jackass.  The second act is much worse.

Let's not forget that sexual misconduct and assault are legally defined in degrees of severity for a good reason.  Offenders are not all the same.

While the acts vary, the pathology is the same, however.

I don't agree with that at all.  The mindset involved with whacking it in front of others is nothing like that of forcing one's self on another.

Louis CK never assaulted anyone.  He didn't even try to assault anyone or even touch anyone.

Are you basing this on opinion or some background in the study of sexual pathology?  If it's the latter, I'd be interested in reading more.

I'm doing the same as you - giving an opinion.

I'm wondering if our opinions are equally informed in terms of understanding sexual aggression, motivations, and impact on victims.  Based on what you're posting, I get a sense that they aren't.

I'm getting the sense that you prefer to give an opinion with no factual evidence to support it, and then when people disagree with your opinion, you question their level of "being informed".

I'm wondering if you're planning on providing any factual evidence to support your assertion that "the pathology is the same".
If you'd like.  I'll start something in SOCN.  Forcwhat it's worth, I have a strong background in psychology and, specifically, the study of mental disorders.  So your "sense" is incorrect.
I understand that certain disorders are beyond a "cure."  Pederasty is one of them.

All they can do is manage their acting on the compulsion.  The compulsion doesn't go away.

Not the compulsion, just acting on it.  The thought loop is virtually impossible to end, similar to severe depression.  But, if an offender follows the restrictions of their parole to the letter, meaning no contact or even proximity to those they would target, they can reduce the likelihood repeat offending.   But, it's always there...

I would think with the internet and all that is available on it would make it almost impossible.

They sell kids on Craig's List for sex if you know how to decipher the ads.

Why more isn't being done in this country (especially by the feminists who are always whining about some nonsense) to stop the child sex trafficking is a mystery to me.

It's about time Seagal's career came to an end anyway. Some of the most tedious films ever made with a level of stone face one note acting you just can't believe.

What career? That disappeared along with his real hair.
He's hanging out in Russia sucking carrots and playing with his melons.
