So, I don't think I've done one of these versus polls in a while. This one just seems so obvious, but probably a lot of people have pretty strong feelings one way or the other, or at least try strong feelings of indecision.

Tom Sawyer

or

Subdivisions

arguably the homes of Rush's two most classic keyboard riffs, and two of their most humongous anthems.

Which will you decide?

Subdivisions.

They're both in my Rush top ten, but Subdivisions is #1.

I like that the word "humongous" was used ..

I think we should use it more

JB just posted a pic of some humongous chick playing guitar

She's not just "some humongous chick", my answer is IN the pic. "Part" of the chick.

Of course, you can just check my vote itself but the pic does SAY my answer. Partly at least.

I'd take Limelight and TSOR over both...but Subdivisions is top ten.

Both, though I would guess that most casual Rush fans would vote for TS.

Yeah I can't really decide, lol.

Tom Sawyer is undeniable, but Subdivisions is right up there. Most days I'd probably value TS a bit more, it's in my top ten, but Subdivisions is then easily top 15 material.

Subdivisions

The opening lyrics for TS make me cringe.

Subdivisions for me.  Its my second favorite Rush song, with only 2112 beating it.

Not knocking Tom Sawyer.  Its a great song.  In fact, its a top 10 Rush song for me.  But against Subdivisions it no contest.

Note - I am somewhat surprised Subdivisions is this far ahead at this point.  I thought it might be ahead but this far, thats a bit of a shock.

Subdivisions for me. It's their most sociological tune and says something important about conformity and alienation.
