You couldn't get three more different films to be released on the same day...

Paris, Texas is one of those films that, if someone says "the greatest film of all time", you may not agree, but you can understand why .. definitely "A" material  .. Harry Dean Stanton, Nastassja Kinski, and Dead Stockwell - all three are incredible in this - performances of a lifetime ......

I have a soft spot ( soft ? ) for Body Double as it was one of the first films I ever came across after the family got a giant satellite dish back around 1985 .... Crass, tacky and highly entertaining ... not to mention Frankie Goes To Hollywood on a porn set !!  ... did Hitch roll over in his grave or would he have loved it ??

The Terminator ??  ... ehh ... not even nostalgic appeal for me

Even with the young, busty Griffith, no way does Body Double get an A- or higher. I can't remember the plot tbh. I'm not sure it'd even matter.

Terminator is my favorite of that franchise...only two good movies in the whole lot matter of fact.

Paris, Texas is an intriguing mystery/drama. Quality from HDS.

Actually, if we're talking Body Double, I would take Deborah Shelton over Melanie each and every day of the week ... I'd take Deborah over Kinski too ...

But then again:

A slight digression here

In looking up Deborah Shelton just now, I came across some pics of Ms Shelton at an film convention signing autographs ... These pics are from 2013, when she was 65 years old ... SIXTY FIVE

What a total fox .. she looks just as good, if not better, now than she did in Body Double
