oghond2112
I can't be the only Rush fan who hears a RUSH song and ALWAYS will try to imitate Geddy (although no one else I know says I sound like Geddy). "Limelight" is where I'm most guilty of doing this. Who else is guilty of doing this?
Lucas
well, not so much Geddy, but last week while in the market, I saw a guy I know coming down the aisle who has a tendency to talk non stop .. for hours on end I did my best Neil impersonation, did an about face, and beat it outta there before he could see me .. Nate2112
I don't because I'm not Geddy Lee. /thread
J2112YYZ
I do that when I sing along with most singers not just Geddy. When I was a teenager I used to be able to hit those Geddy high notes pretty well. Twenty something years later, not so much

Doesn't stop me from trying it anyway! Edited October 24, 2017 by Wil1972
goose
Used to sing it OK, but it's pretty tough these days. :codger:

BenjaminW
A couple times. But if I'm out in public, I'll just mumble it quietly but if I'm at home alone, then I have all day to sing as loud as I want to.

"Limelight" is where I'm most guilty of doing this. Who else is guilty of doing this? Of course. I can do a pretty mean Geddy (singing) impersonation...even hit the high notes. Then again, I'm a girl, It's not that difficult. ;) Edited October 24, 2017 by Alien Girl

lifeson90
Always doing Al's guitar to be honest. Amazing the variety of noises he makes with that thing you can actually do with your throat Power Windows my fav album for that Doing Grand Designs right now actually A little bit of Ged's bass & Neil's percussion pops in as necessary. Even a little bit of synth but not too much of that Get some funny looks on the street sometimes but dont care, especially when doing La Villa Edited October 24, 2017 by lifeson90

blueschica
I do it in the kitchen with my earbuds in, so the poor cat hears only me. No Geddy or Rush backup. Thank goodness she can't video me! :P
