Yeah temples of syrinx and x1 probably hit the highest levels but the quality of his tone doesnt get better than permanent waves for me ie/spirit of radio

He can go higher. "Like a spiral sea unending" from Cygnus X-1 is the highest he's gone. Bb6 I think. As for the lowest, I believe it's C2 in "Double Agent."

Thank you, Bigbobby, that was really fun! I was thinking Fly by Night, but obviously he has gone higher.

His voice is pretty low on Cinderella Man by 70's Geddy standards. On Circumstances for instance his voice is way higher.

Geddy gets up there in some of the very early stuff like Garden Road and Fancy Dancer

He strikes me more as influenced by Janis Joplin than Robert Plant in those days - I loved his voice back then

I agree with Cygnus X-I but my most favorite high vocal point is in the middle of "Freewill!"

torn apAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRT is his highest at a Bb5, sliding up to a B5 in some live versions

As far as peak pitch, Temples of Syrinx is actually pretty tame.

Like others have said it's probably the ending part of Cygnus X1. But he was hitting some insanely high notes on Hemispheres and that tour.
