ABBA has been on rotation lately, and I can't stop and I think I need help. What makes this Swedish Dance group so good?

Ha! What a joke! You'd never catch me signing and dancing in my car seat to ABBA songs!

It would be awfully hard to steer.

ABBA created some of the greatest music ever written

Why ??

Aside from the fact that I love them, you look on any one of their albums and you will see this:

All tracks written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus

Produced by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus

ABBA was formed at a grassroots level by musicians who had been influenced by the first generation of great rock music, plus some obvious traditional influences ..

They were sincere and arguably the most talented team ever in popular music ... Add to that the amazing voices of Agnetha and Frida and the chemistry they possessed - never has the music world seen better

ABBA elevated the pop sound, integrating a busier, more complex set of variables into their music without ever losing the pop hooks. They weren't afraid to mix dark, melancholic sounds into upbeat dance rhythms, and were always willing to blend those kinds of opposites in interesting ways. They were never boring.

They were unique, clever and ambitious. They could've stayed centered in the pop wheelhouse, but they took risks, and they made it pay off.

Masterfully written and performed pop ear candy with interesting musicality going on behind it and supporting it on every level, plus a generally playful nature and feel good memory inducing lyrics? What's not to adore?

One of the greatest bands ever made! They are the Swedish Beatles but BETTER! Every song is a hit.

When ABBA was at their zenith they would gross more revenue than the Swedish Car Company VOLVO!

ABBA RULES!!

Of cours you will always have the haters on this "BORED."

Alas, I am used to it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE ABBA!

"THE EAGLE!"

IT'S PROG!

Catchy pop songs. Sometimes it's all you need.

They were frequently much more than that.

I've said it a million times but never meant it more than I do now:

You're on acid.

I'll have what he's having then

Where's the Beatles connection other than both being a four member group?

The Bee Gees were the English Rush.
