Hey guys, I know news is slow lately (besides the occasional Alex sighting or Geddy being interviewed by Rather thing) but I thought it was cool that Shawn Drover who played in Megadeth for 10 years name dropped Neil as the best living drummer around the 28 minute mark of this podcast and cited Rush as his first concert as well mid interview. I know it's not for everybody but for anybody that is interested:

It's crazy the amount of metal and rock drummers who have come out talking about and explaining their love for Rush, and Peart. it shows you that his creativity and mastery of the craft has not gone unnoticed by younger generations...for the most part.

Foo Fighters talk with stars in their eyes about Rush all the time. And I love it!

It also shows that Rush were more metal/hard rock than they were progressive, but that's the label that stuck.

No problem Lucas, I know I like hearing how the boys influenced other musicians so I figured I'd post that here.
