If it's the song I'm thinking of, I used to love it but can no longer listen to it. It's just one of those songs. Not that I have ceased to think it's a good song, but just that I don't like the desolate way it makes me feel nor do I like what it reminds me of.

Edit: yes, that;s the song. I ought to give it a ***** and think I will do just that. Loved to sing along with him and see if I could hold that last note as long as he did.

10/10.

Love it.

I have everything up to and including Speak of the Devil.

Saw Chris Isaak live many years ago. Great show and a phenomenal singer live. Got to meet him after the show. Great guy and very funny.

His old guitarist James Wilsey is one of my biggest guitar influences.

His first two albums are sheer perfection.

Not a fan of the guy, zero stars.

He was better as the SWAT commander in Silence of the Lambs.

Yeah, I don't remember him being in that either but he did it. And not remembering him in that is better than remembering him in Wicked Game. :P

I don't remember him in that either, I think it's a blink and you miss them kind of role. Still it HAS to be the best moment of his career.

Chris Isaak is like the opposite to Prog:

3 minute songs that can be listened to by anyone. Even women.

A singer who looks like a 40's movie idol, not a maths teacher.

One of my all time favourite songs. I sing it a lot.

Me too! And I can't sing. :(

Great, bleak love song with a helluva guitar hook (and sound).

10/10, beautiful.

The sting in the tail (last line of the song): "Nobody loves no one." Ouch. Ouchouchouch. Great, amazingly depressed line.

It worked perfectly in "Wild at Heart".

After reading the comments, I guess I need to check out some more Chris Isaak!

I have always loved this song. I really like HIM's cover of it. Adam Gontier does a pretty good acoustic version too.

HIM...a top five band for me!
