My confession is:

I never really cared for Star Trek, or for that matter, most science fiction.   Or superhero fiction. On a Rush board, this is a deep dark secret that probably shouldn't be revealed, but...

:wtf:

LABT, this thread will be the perfect place to talk about Lick It Up

.. and in all seriousness, back on topic - I am really happy to see you posting again
As long as he's in the Confidence Pool that's all that matters. :sundog:

I see you as a fan of Ka-Zar.
Who?
He's like the Marvel version of Tarzan. They put a Z in his name and everything.

My college suitemate, who was a very good musician and with whom I saw Rush on the Moving Pictures tour, wrote a fairly glowing review of KISS about 1981, for our college newspaper. You want to talk about countercultural and an incredibly unpopular opinion, that was it.

Even he thought Lick It Up was dreck.

Is that what you meant about talking about Lick It Up?

Actually, i smile every time I hear that song, it is what it is and it never claimed to be anything more.   So in some weird sense, I'm a fan.

I've never seen any Star Wars movies and that includes the first one that was all the rage in high school. I still couldn't care less...

Most guys aren't, they just pretend to like it to be able to get chicks.

Not really a confession because I think I've said this before, but after lurking for awhile and being unsure whether to join TRF, it was Narps' moxy and great old school posts that made me want to join ..

And to this day, as much a fan I am of everything 1970s, I have never see Star Wars !!

Glad you started posting.   :)

I have seen Star Wars.    My son was a big fan for a while, so I've seen four of the parts.   Or is it five?    I guess I didn't think they were all that memorable.
