Anyway I have a quick story for all of you Gene and KISS fans on the Board.

 

One of my best friends and his wife were in Beverly Hills like 12 years ago. Just walking around on Rodeo.

They went into this cool little two story shopping center and jumped into the elevator.

Upon entry Gene and Shannon raced into the elevator with them.

 

My buddy couldn't believe his eyeballs. He said Gene And Shannon were like little kids. Filled with energy and flirty. Hugging and talking up a storm. Having a great time together!

 

My buddy and his wife didn't say anything and gave them their privacy!

 

I think they are truly in love. But then again that was over a decade ago.

The KISS fanbase has a collectors mentality, it's full of people who will buy anything KISS related, so as ridiculous as it seems there will be some fans who will pay the $50,000. Fans who have enough money and need to have every bit of KISS merchandise will come out of the woodwork. There may be a dozen of them may even be 20 of them, but even if there's only 1 or 2 that's still $100,000 for a shitty box set that's worth about $50. And if he gets 20 suckers that's 1 million for some shit he found in the attic. Gene is like a drug dealer exploiting the addict's weakness. He charges $50,000 because he knows some fans will pay it.

I love the collecting of box sets.

 

However that being said, I have watched the Gene videos. I have seen the stuff that Gene is throwing into the Vault. It's more like a SHITE FAULT!

 

Dude, That fukking Gene figure is JUNK. The vault itself looks like a piece of shit. I can't believe the swag Gene is throwing into that hollow vault.

 

The only thing I want to hear are the LOVE GUN demos with the Van Halen brothers.

 

Otherwise it's just audio shit.

 

That being said, I am not bashing Gene. He truly is a Rock And Roll Marketing Genius.

 

Good for him to make money even if it is tacky or greedy.

 

Free Enterprise is something I believe in. Thank GOD I have my own thriving business with my father.

About 14 years ago I jammed with a guy trying to put together a band, who had won 15 million or so in the lottery during the 80's. He was an insane KISS fan. I could see him doing doing it. He seemed ti have set himself up well with the $$.
