It's worthy of great criticism, but I used to be quite a big fan of this album

Now I'm just more of a fan

HYF is Power Window's wimpy older brother.

It's the last "great" album for me...well crafted songwriting and some of Geddys' best bass work, particularly Turn the Page (how does he play that and sing at the same time?)

However, it's interesting to note that even here the rot had started to set in with the last two songs being stinkers, but that's what the skip button is for.

Took me a while to get into this album but it's an album I enjoy listening to. And we all know Tai Shan is the best song on the album.

A good thread to discuss the superiority of HYF. 10/10 best album of theirs, only to have Power Windows follow suit after.

2112, Moving Pictures and Clockwork Angels can be used as toilet paper.

Hard Rock pretending to be progressive rock is dead

Love,

Gene "Rock is Dead" Simmons

In all seriousness, HYF is truly my favorite of theirs. It's the album where they're the most stylish, cosmopolitan and it has a slight Blade Runner feel to it, at least from what I get to it...and Blade Runner is my favorite movie

It's much better than that overplayed dad rock anthem "Limelight"

"Where's the bud light, Travis? Get off my lawn chair, Bubba"
