I am right handed but have a daughter that is a leftie that does all kinds of craft things and she is always running into that. The latest is a calligraphy class and trying not to drag her arm across the wet ink; the teacher wasn't too helpful!
When she was little and wanted to learn how to write her name she had fun using her left hand but when she put letters together she did mirror writing. The letters were backwards and the order also. It was the strangest thing! We thought she would grow up to be the Unabomber or something until a friend of mine that's a teacher told me it was fairly common. I got a lot of notes signed , EVOL, EM. (except the letters were backwards.). She eventually grew out of it in kindergarten. I still find left handedness intriguing!
