Time to get started !! :hockey:   After the Pens' win last season, let's see what this season will hold!

And will anyone in the NHL sign Jaromir Jagr??

Calgary did just today http://www.espn.com/...ng-jaromir-jagr

Hi Rhyta!  Nice to see you!  Hooray, it's hockey time!

Glad to see this.  Jagr is a couple of months older than I am.  I have always wanted to play in the NHL but am getting up there in age.  So if he is still playing, I figured I still have a chance.  Dream is still alive.

Forget the fact that I've never actually played ice hockey (only roller hockey).

Yes, the hat trick by Saad in the home opener plus 10-1 win is quite a statement! Congrats to him! Fun game to watch for you guys!  Pens get a day off before Nashville and then having to play the Caps (I think Ovi had a hat trick tonight also.). My husband is already walking around with a long story about how short recovery time is when you go to the Stanley Cup finals. . .

Hawks 10 Penguins 1 :) A five point night for Hartman and he couldn't even get on the three-stars selection after this game.  Everything worked beautifully except the power play. :eyeroll:  I'm eagerly awaiting the Columbus tilt on Saturday.

Nice to see you too Blueschica,  I have missed being here (computer issues) but now hockey season is back so will I be lurking and posting here.
I know one game isn't a season but it was nice to see the Blackhawks do great at the home opener. :hockeygoon: :ebert:

I expect the Pens will shake it off and have better games ahead.

Hawks 5 Jackets 1 :) Scoring early set the table for another win. Too bad Schmaltz won't be able to make the trip to Canada. That messes up our second line a bit. On to Toronto and Montreal. :madra:

Make that two games!  I bet Nashville is wishing they had Neal still and Fleury is doing great.  Time will tell if the rest of the team can begin pulling their weight.  They will get worn out if they have to carry the team all the time.  Still I am happy for them and I have to say I do like their jerseys..cool design

How bad is Schmaltz hurt?   I only saw a little bit of game highlights last night, came home late from a football game and crashed on the couch to watch NHL on the fly and then slept through it...Looks like Saad scored again and Kane is looking great.  Will be hoping to see some of Monday's game against Toronto (will have to tape and watch it later).

For now, Schmaltz is penciled in to play on Thursday against Minnesota. Let's hope that's the case...
