Packers have cut TE Martellus Bennett after proving to be a major league BUST.

Dropping passes, a diva attitude, talk of retirement after this year (after he signs a 3-year deal), and now, a phantom shoulder injury.

Good riddance.  :moon:

He was a total idiot while in Dallas.  He has the physical skills but lacks the mental skills terribly.

The concensus up here is that once Rodgers was lost for the year, he lost his desire to play.   He wanted to catch passes from Rodgers.  He didn't necessarily want to to be a Packer.

What are they doing with OJ Howard?  He's supposed to be the next great tight end.  :eh:

I am outraged I was just watching the NE @ DEN National Anthem. There was a camera man who during the whole anthem was on a knee just filming away!!!! I mean what a disrespectful act on of all daze Veterans Day!!! He should be fired immediately!!!! as he showed that he cared more about earning his pay check to feed his family than respecting ALl we hold sacred! I think we should boycott watching any film shot by this deplorable act!! Even if it is the National Anthem!!! Hey wait a minute

If only more people could open their eyes and see just how hypocritical they're being in regards to this issue.  I've seen no criticism or outrage over all the fans, cameramen, TV and radio people, stadium workers, and all others who are doing "something else" while the anthem is playing.  Only the players are being chastized.

This is a harmful side-effect of being a professional athlete/entertainer.  People expect you to perform for them 24/7, in everything that you do.  You're expected to be a boy scout, to never do anything wrong, to be respectful and patriotic at all times, and to be a good role model for everyone's kids.  The Cult of Celebrity in this country is a social disease.

It was a good run while it lasted but my Rams winning streak is over.  They’ll eventually finish at 500 just for the fact that their last game is against 49ers.

Don't worry the SAINTS kept their winning streak going and hopefully we'll keep it going in your home town next week. And then you can abandon the Rams altogether and support the SAINTS which is what you should have been doing all along, like me! :sundog:

I was working a ten hour shift at my call centre and I asked to put the Saints game on and I swear I put the guy on hold for a solid five minutes while the final play went on. Absolutely incredible. I'm seriously worried about next weeks game against LA though
