TRF on iPad

I have 2 iPads. My new one has the same problem with TRF as the old one. When I compose a post I see no emoticons. Yes the box is checked that says enable emoticons. I can see everything on my laptop without a problem. I use Chrome on both. I've tried the mobile skin but nothing changes and it's clunky. Any help from anybody who knows what's going on?

I've never figured it out in iPad either

It doesn't show. I can't see them on my phone either. You just have to memorize the ones you want to use and type it in.

You can see an animated list of the emoticon codes here. You may wish to bookmark the link or save the page as a PDF to your iBooks app...just keep in mind that if you go the PDF route, the list obviously won't appear animated (so check the frame that was captured to be sure you'll recognize the animated ones). The applicable emoticons will still be animated in your posts on the forum, though.
