That guitar though.  lol

Good job on the lead (and nice Rush teasers just before).

The whole band was pretty tight.  This must have been near the top of the local scene.

That guitar was great (still is)! I once let an old blues guitarist play on it. After he was done he said, "playing that thing is like driving granny to church in a sports car".

I'm assuming ESP or Ibanez, just based on the shape.

Carvin. I bought it back in '86 after seeing a Starship video with Craig Chaquico playing his tiger-striped one:

I remember that guitar and video.  lol

Carvin makes great stuff, but if I recall they were really heavy.

My V220 is about 9 lbs, I think, which is about the same weight as a Les Paul (I think).

Thanks again. Yeah, I really liked how we modified the Peter Gunn bass line to fit with the Tom Sawyer solo section.

And did you catch the Spirit Of Radio, Xanadu, and Freewill nods before the TS solo?

Me too. Though the Freewill run is still in the original key, which I think is F, but for whatever reason, it doesn't sound dissonant with that E-based bass line.

Awesome job! Too bad you couldn't have the Hemisphere's intro with 'The Alex Chord' in there somewhere...but I guess it just wasn't easy to dance to.
