blueschica
RIP, Batman. The first and original one for me. Who could forget those intense wall climbing scenes with Robin? ;) ;) He was cheesy in a William Shatner kind of way but my sisters and I loved it. Principled Man
This little boy got chills every time this intro played. Batman & Robin shaped my childhood and steered me towards a lifetime of digging science fiction and superhero genres. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jgE-lrfZ3k Edited June 10, 2017 by Principled Man
JohnnyBlaze
This little boy got chills every time this intro played. Batman & Robin shaped my childhood and steered me towards a lifetime of digging science fiction and superhero genres. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jgE-lrfZ3k As a Marvel guy since the age of 4, I still loved that cheesy Batman show. The costumes! The assortment of characters! The comic booky panels! RIP

EagleMoon
When I was a kid I used to pin a towel around my neck and pretend like I was Batman. I even had Batman PJs. I loved that show.

custom55
I would watch Batman while eating dinner in the mid/late 60's. RIP Bruce Wayne
invisible airwave
Turns out the Zombie Nightmare episode of MST3K is on Netflix so I watched it again in his honor. "Nobody can milk a scene quite like Adam West!" RIP Quahog mayor.
MMCXII
Rip Mr West. This is sad although I was born in '70 and only saw the odd rerun here and there so I can't relate like some here can. Found this pretty neat video though:
goose
Awww, bummer. I was just listening to him on the radio a couple of weeks ago. He seemed like a very genuine person. I love the old Batman show.
