I hate to sound like a total hypocrite after that whole "rtb vs. cte" thread a while back...but dang it I love Presto and GFTO isn't really my fav Yes album. They're actually pretty evenly matched, but I have a stronger pull to Presto in this case. Just more personal to me.

I'm just not a big fan of Yes in particular and this album is definitely in the bottom tier for me.

GFTO does have Awaken, but the rest has a really AOR vibe that doesn't suit them well. Presto suits that era of Rush just fine, and the tinny production somehow actually benefits the music, unlike on RTB. They are very close albums, but on a given day I'd prefer to here Presto, just my connection with each album.

GFTO is probably the more respectable album though.

i always loved rush,but roundabout and the 90210 album by yes were about the only yes songs i really liked.never got into that prog rock bullshit cause it is all rock and roll to me.
