Tough one - I'd have to go with bands that have a lot of range, melody and/or heaviness. I'd also obviously want bands with lots of albums; it would be hard to give up Aerosmith Rocks, the first two Boston records, and a whole bunch of other things, but they just don't have extensive enough discographies. Tull is a contender, although I've sort of lost interest.
