Texas King
What do you think? I think Pat Benatar could have covered Closer to the Heart pretty well. It would be a great song for her.
Segue Myles
I think Alice In Chains and Tears was great and far superior to the original. I think Stevie Nicks would work magic on most of Hold Your Fire. I think Toto would have really worked magic with the Presto title track. Lacuna Coil and Peacable Kingdom or Sweet Miracle would sound amazing. Edited April 16, 2017 by Segue Myles

I love her as a person, love her voice but...i can't really handle entire albums at a time. But yes I could imagine this working with a new arrangement! I mean she took a Cheryl Cole song and made it haunting for goodness sake...

diatribein
KISS - In The Mood It could work. Who's on vocals? Need Some Love & Take A Friend could work too. Paul, definitely When KISS covered Led Zeppelin songs live (Whole Lotta Love for example) Paul sang. In The Mood is from the RUSH trying to sound like Led Zeppelin era so by the transitive property Paul would sing it. They would also never do it. Incidentally, I only know Whole Lotta Love from KISS live bootlegs I used to own. Edited April 17, 2017 by diatribein

Fridge
I think the Manic Street Preachers could do a good job of quite a few Rush songs, plus they are big fans......

apetersvt
I'd love to see Govt' Mule do a Rush song. They always play a lot of covers but haven't really done much with Prog tunes. Would be interesting to see what kind of jam it would turn into.
