There are the consensus 10/10s : albums that are widely acknowledged for their perfection ..

But there are also the personal 10/10s : that special album that, no matter where you drop the needle, there is magic ..

Don't be shy .. This can be very different that a Greatest Albums Of All Time list ... If you like something so much that you consider it a 10, I'm going to give it a shot ... I need new music to listen to ...

So let's have 'em

Well, if there's any definite ten in my life it's this masterpiece, however widely acknowledged:

Honestly, there is at least couple of dozen albums that I think are absolutely flawless. I'll limit myself to the first titles that immediately come to mind:

Rush – Hemispheres

Genesis – Nursery Cryme

Traffic – John Barleycorn Must Die

Derek and the Dominos – Layla and Other Love Songs

Santana – Santana

The Who - Who's Next

Def Leppard - High n' Dry (Other than the last 15 or so seconds of "No, No, No")

Def Leppard - Pyromania

Judas Priest - British Steel

Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance

Savatage - Hall of the Mountain King

Savatage - Streets

Nightwish - Century Child

I am not including live albums, greatest hits albums or Rush albums in my list. If I did the list would be a lot larger.

I just realised I put Clarity down.
