Texas King
You can make at the most 3 picks from this list. For me: 1. Steve Hackett - very underrated and superb guitarist who introduced tapping technique to the world of rock2.Steve Howe - a guitar grandmaster of another big prog band3.Steve Vai - awesome shredder

TheAccountant
Voted for: 1. Steve Clark - When he was alive Def Leppard was great (esp. for their first 3 albums, in particular its 2nd & 3rd albums) 2. Steve Vai - As others have said, awesome shredder. 3. Steve Howe - A ton of fine work with Steve Hackett when they were together in GTR, but he also did a bunch of great work with Asia & Yes. If I could have voted for a 4th it would have been Steve Morse (prefer his work to Steve Hackett's).
