Why do idiots make st Patrick's day threads 3 days early?

You're obviously the idiot. True Irishmen celebrate the whole goddamn week!!!

No. We don't.

Pressure seems to be humorless. I think most non Irish would be surprised to see St Patrick's day observed in Ireland. It bears no resemblance to what happens in the us for example.

More of a religious holiday? In addition to the drinking bit, of course.

St. Paddy!

It is still a religious holiday, most Catholics will go to Mass this Friday, with shamrock(denoting the Father, Son & Holy Spirit) on their lapels, then they'll go to the nearest parade. Some(a minority) will go on a bender, and if you're a tourist, you'll get sucked in too.

But, St. Patrick's Day is a very important day for the Irish diaspora, who are in every corner of the globe. It gives them a day where they can get together and celebrate being Irish, and talk of home and family.

Celebrating with the Redbreast 12 year, a good Catholic whiskey not like that Protestant shit. A customer of mine was looking at the photograph of the twin towers under construction. So I'm reminiscing with my customer about the World Trade Center. As a young man if I really liked a lady I'd take her for brandy Alexanders at Windows on the World.

Babe date: How many times have you been here?

YoungJR: You mean this week or today?
