Oh, it is the same for me! No one can beat Darth Vader in being evil! Maybe the emperor, but no.

Alan Arkin in Wait Until Dark is stellar.

I would not count him as a villain. He is just taking care of his family!

A villain as protagonist, which makes the movie work so well.

Vader was always too cool to be the ultimate evil in Star Wars.

To me, it's Palpatine who's the real evil:

Zumbi, it's the original from 1980 ... I saw it the first night it opened in the theater, and it scared that crap outta me - made moreso by the fact that it was really low budget and filmed about 15 minutes from where I lived here in NJ

.. just a sidenote to Mrs Voohees / Betsy Palmer

It was probably about 10 years ago that I met her at a film convention .. She could not have been more gracious and friendly .. I told her that not only was it a pleasure to meet her, but also sort of therapeutic as her character scared me so much when I was a kid ...

She laughed and said that the only reason she was chosen for that part was because she was the only one who had a car to get out to that desolate camp site in the middle of nowhere ( it was filmed on a real campgrounds )

She talked for about 15 minutes with me .. what a wonderful person RIP
