Dreamline way more than Prime Mover.

When it comes to Prime Mover, I think the idea of the song is much better than the song itself, if that makes any sense.

DREAMLINE

"I Love the spirit of dreamline and the way Neil captures that feeling of Wanderlust and Invulnerability that comes in a particular trying time in your life" --- Geddy in Heeb

:) I agree.

Prime Mover by a long distance....

Every time I hear that "We are Young" line in Dreamline I just want to shout back "No you're not!"

And how do you react to "Anything can happen..."? "No it can't!!!"?

Dreamline is a fantastic song. Easily one of their very best ever, any era.

And yet I voted for Prime Mover. It's always connected with me perfectly.

Both songs are the best off their respective albums easily. On another day I'd vote Dreamline, but not today.

Prime Mover was a song that I was really drawn to when I first got into Rush.

The musings of Aristotle are rare subject matter for a rock/pop song.

Dreamline is the best song in the post p/g era. Prime Mover is an underrated song from what I've come to see as an underrated album.

Meh, Dreamline is a fine Rush tune, but it feels like a rockier rehash of DEW to me and always has. I'm not a big fan of Prime Mover either, but I think it has more interesting textures and arrangement, which I appreciate for the sake of repeated listens.

Also, Dreamline is on RTB, which I rarely listen to cuz I think it kinda sucks, whereas PM is on HYF, which I listen to only slightly more often cuz I think it's kinda weak. The scales tip in favor of PM there as well.
