Anybody here do Fantasy baseball?

I honestly can't be bothered. There's too much stats in it, and I hate all of the sabermetrics discussions surrounding the sport. Sure they might have value but it takes away the casualness about watching the game every single day for 6 months for me. I keep an eye on the batting averages, the HR counts, and some defensive stats but that's about it for me.

Plus I would end up picking all Cubs + Mike Trout and where's the fun in that?
Two leagues this year!!!  I won my fantasy league last year!!!  500 bucks baby!!!!
28th year for my fantasy league.  I am one of two guys who have been in every year.  I have won 6 times.

Love fantasy ball!!

28 years?  That's incredible!!!!

That's about as rare as the Oakland Athletics winning a World Series any time soon!!!

Got tickets for the Cubs-Cardinals at Wrigley Field on June 2nd! This will be my first time at Wrigley since 2010, and the rivalry should be intense this year :haz:

Ruh-roh.  Jung-Ho Kang can't play for the Pirates if he can't get in the country.  :(

http://www.post-gaze...es/201703240183

Edited to add:  News story was that Kang was denied a US visa due to a DUI conviction in Korea this winter.  However, I was just watching the Pirates game against Tampa and they announced that that was a false rumor from an unnamed Korean news source. Kang is still in Korea but will report when his court hearing for the DUI is over. He'll then have to be in the minors awhile for conditioning. That's not much better . . .   :(

For the first time in MLB history, a pitcher hits two home runs in a game on Opening Day.

And of course it was Madison Bumgarner. He went deep, then after he lost his perfect game bid, got pissed off like he does and f***ed the DH a second time.

Cubs take on those dirty birds in St. Louis tonight.

Epic!

But for every Bumgarner there are thirty pitchers that are rally-killing automatic outs. DH, please.

OPENING DAY for the Rangers!!!!

Darvish on the mound to start! :notworthy:  I have on my Rangers jersey, even though it has Kinsler's name on the back. I wonder if that's bad luck.

Who cares??? BASEBALL'S BACK!!!!  :cheerleader:

Huge series in Chicago tonight. Early favorites for NL champion are Cubs and Dodgers. So far tonight it's been exciting!
