The movies come in black and white or color, some zombies run and some shamble and drag, some are global some are limited to one house ... They differ from vampire movies and usually have bleak outcomes ..

So which zombie film is your favorite ??

Which are some underrated sleepers ?

Comedic or dead serious ??

I tried to list as many as I could, so if I forgot one, feel free to mention it

EDIT

I made the poll multiple choice

You forgot about Zombieland.

Is that your favorite ??

No but you forgot about it.

Truth be told, I didn't forget

;)

I like that film because it's a KIngpin reunion. And I'm not really a fan of Zombie films.

My favourite one is another one you missed.

I am not a fan of Zombie movies, I just find them silly and stupid. Tho I do like The Walking Dead series. (Both normal version and the Fear.. version). But that is maybe because its not really that much focus on the zombies. They are more a side thing. Its more about the humans, how they survive.

I used to hate The Walking Dead. But then I was at my brother's place. And he put on a episode and forced me to watch it. Ever since then I have been a huge fan of the series.

I used this list as a reference .. I could only put 40 choices on, so I went with the movies that I have seen

I've yet to see Plague

Dawn of the dead at the midnight movies. What can be better?

That's how I first saw it ... My older sis talked the ticker takers into letting us in - she was 18, my friend and I were 12, younger sis was 8 ( lol )

AW, are you old enough to remember that it was considered an X rating ? No one under 18 was supposed to get in

I chose my top 3:

Night of the Living Dead '68

Dawn of the Dead '78

Return of the Living Dead

I liked 28 Days Later and to a lesser degree, 28 Weeks Later. But those weren't strictly zombies so I disqualified those two..

I had heard Zombieland was so good and all that but I ended up being disappointed. It wasn't bad but it was okay at best.

World War Z was a butchering of the fun book and barely resembled it at all.

Land of the Dead was weak. Survival of the Dead was total trash.

Remakes for Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead weren't as bad as I expected but, of course, they don't come anywhere close to the originals and didn't actually need to be made.

Absolutely (or maybe unfortunately). They also would show an honest to god X rated porn sometimes in the same theater. We would pay to see let there be Rock or song remains the same or rocky horror and slip into dawn of the dead or an actual porn. some of my favorite times were th midnight movies.

The original Dawn of the Dead is one of my favourite movies of all time.

Special mention for Peter Jackson's Braindead / Dead Alive, which is so quirky and hilariously OTT
