Why are you listing those of us who aren't in the running? I thought we were eliminated. No need to humiliate us further, eh?

This game is like the real world. 12 cars in the championship, but they still let all 40 hit the track. We've got to compete for the best of the worst.

And as I posted previously, thus is the idiocy of the playoffs. Every race and driver should count from Daytona to Homestead. Screw the stages and the playoffs!

I didn't like the move to a playoff system at first but it grew on me. I think stage racing is great.

Overall, I like where NASCAR is right now.

So, how do we fix this racing? It has changed so much even since the recent days of Gordon, Earnhardt, Wallace, Rudd, ect. I feel that drivers have become way too passive. It was way better when the chrome horn was used more often and true driver rivalries were created. Most of these drivers are way too considerate. This "He raced me clean" stuff is garbage. Bring the spirit and anger back to Nascar! Then this stage racing wouldn't be necessary to make it even a little interesting. Make Nascar great again!

I will just say that I disagree with your assessment.

I don't think anything needs to be fixed. Not anything glaring anyway.

The racing hasn't been good. This aero package does not encourage passing, and clean air is king. First thing they need to do is eliminate the front splitter on these cars, remove front downforce and make clean air punitive.

There's also the money issue in the sport that Denny Hamlin highlighted earlier this week. We've got the NASCAR-ISC France family cabal controlling way too much of the sport's money, not paying out sufficient purses. The teams are much too sponsor dependant, and costs are too high.

I like the new Xfinity composite bodies, it reduces costs for the team, and eliminates a competitive channel that creates too much of an advantage for the top teams. I'd like to see the same technology implemented in the cup series, and similar programs implemented for engine tech.

I think NASCAR should provide more "crate" equipment, and should only give the teams the race weekend to prep their cars. They need to ease these draconian "cheating" penalties, and let the teams get creative- but if they're controlling the baseline with crate equipment, the teams won't be able to get so far out of line.

I honestly didn't see your Brad K pick, Ken, until after I put mine up. I was thinking of going with Kyle Busch all week and then I decided I wanted to save him for an upcoming race. I'm actually pulling for Dale Jr. but nothing good ever happens on the racetrack and in our house, (just pouting actually) when Mr. blues and I pick the same driver.
