I'm only a lightweight BOC fan, I only like a few albums and my top 2 are very clear to me; Secret Treaties is my number 2 and way out in front as my favourite BOC album is Fire of Unknown Origin. I bought it when it first came out too. Edited by treeduck

Agents of Fortune, with Cultosaurus Erectus and Secret Treaties coming in close.

To tell the truth, I love all the albums listed

Way too hard. Every album has moments that don't work for me. Some albums I can rule out quickly.

And my favorite moments are almost evenly distributed among the rest.

Probably Secret, Tyranny, Fire, Agents, and the debut are the contenders.

Tyranny and mutation, That being said, I love all the albums. A really under rated album is Heaven Forbid, just a killer album that flew under the radar.

Even their final album had some great moments.

The Old Gods Return is right up there with their best in my opinion.

Never really liked Agents as a whole all that much.

I'm with ya. It's got a couple of great songs, plus a few other good songs, but it has some total horse crap on it as well. To me, Don't Fear the Reaper and E.T.I. are the only essential B.O.C. songs from it.

Debut

Imaginos

Tyranny

Mirrors

Spectres

Never really liked Agents as a whole all that much.

I also like Revolution In The Night. Gave the vote to Fire... My intro back in the early '80's. Don't get the big deal about Agents. liked Spectres and Mirrors better.

One Hell of a band. Totally. Even started out complex and great.

Their music has something sinister and dark on the edge of the it.

Like that creepiness you feel, but can't see.

I like this description:

The songs often get described as "spooky" and "eerie" and that's true but they're not spooky and eerie in the way a black metal record or a horrorfilm soundtrack would be. There's just something slightly off about these songs and it's not easy to pin down exactly what it is. Like those nightmares that creep the shit out of you but if you try to retell them to someone else everything that scared you about them gets lost in translation.

Revolution by Night

Haha. Not the best but very underrated.

Probably Treaties or Tyranny

It's kinda sneaky to me... more of a standard rock by their standards, but it still puts it ahead of several other bands.
