What stick?

I think he might mean the 2nd generation Amazon Fire Stick. ORF was saying he got one this fall; I got one on Black Friday. It plugs into the HDMI port on the side of most tv's and streams stuff for you. We got Netflix so we could see all the Netflix stuff. I am wondering where he is getting all the British stuff to watch, I love Inspector Morse!

Hey ORFie, where are you streaming Foyle's War and Inspector Morse from? Are they just on Netflix or what?

The Amazon Fire Stick although the full title is 'Jail broken' Firestick on E-Bay...you have to make sure you get one with the operation instructions included. Mine didn't come with the instructions. "jailbroken" means it's been loaded with KODI programming. That's what it says on E-bay anyways....KODI is the program that I use, although there are 'Apps' such as Netflix, YouTube, etc. through KODI, I usually use the 'Specto main service, altough there are a bunch of those type of program providers. they have a search function where all you have to do is go to 'search' put the program name in and if it comes up you select it and put it in your favourites., the instructions will tell you how to do it all....that's how I got all the Brit shows, etc. there are a LOT of programs that provide streaming/video hook ups where you get your TV shows, Movies....etc. that's all I know right now....my friend was supposed to copy the Op. instructs for me but he forgot... You don't need Netflix anymore, All I have is the KODI PROGRAMMING that I use to connect to the streaming sites. You need Internet network in your home also. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Movies-%20TV/couchpotato-tv.gif

Is it very hard to search on KODI without instructions? I am asking because my sister has shown me a few pretty straightforward YouTube videos about how to load KODI onto my Fire Stick. I think I will try doing it if it gets us the BBC stuff but I won't have any directions about how to search.
