blueschica
Love tomatoes..have 7 plants going ! I can eat them plain. I'm with Chicken hawk! I love them but you have to go for the homegrown as much of the year as possible.

RUSHHEAD666
I like tomatoes, though I don't actually love them. And I can't stand pickles. I like tomatoes too but I also can't stand pickles! I hate pickles and mayonnaise! Disgusting!
RUSHHEAD666
True or false, a tomato is actually a vegetable.
JohnRogers
Okay so I for one love tomatoes, i ask for extra in my salads all the time, but I know a lot of people who don't like them! I can't fathom how anyone can dislike them yet like pickles instead! What is your stance on the tomato discourse? I like tomatoes in my salad, I like a good tomato sauce. I often skip tomatoes on samiches and burgers, I don’t like things that get in the way of my meat and cheese.

That One Guy
Salads, sandwiches, good and fresh tomatoes are a welcome addition. But not if they're old.
goose
I threw some sun-dried tomatoes in with a ham and cheese omlet today and it was stellar.
ozzy85
Good only as an ingredient in ketchup or hot sauce. The texture in raw tomatoes is just weird.
Oracle
Tomatoes are great. Love them in salads, tacos, burgers, dip...really versatile as an ingredient. Never took a liking to tomato juice or stewed tomatoes though.
Weakly Criminal
You simply must grow your own or get them fresh from a neighbor to truly know the joy of the tomato. You can really do just about anything with them. Except pudding. Don't try pudding.

Last year we had one great variety (Sungold cherry tomato) and one that was a disappointment (Black Krim.). The Black Krim just didn't have much flavor, kind of like a Delicious apple.

IbanezJem
A friend from some time ago had a genuine phobia of tomatoes (and balloons). Personally, I think tomatoes are nasty things best suited for throwing at whomever is in the stocks.

Derek19
I've liked, and loved tomatoes. I've been almost like a vegetarian because I eat more fruits, and vegetables, than meat. If, and when I do eat meat, it's mostly chicken. Every once in awhile, I eat fish, but it's breaded sole, and breaded lemon cod baked in the oven. lerxt1990
Pro tomato. In my growing elder laziness I am buying these grape tomatoes and small tomatoes so I can throw them in salads and other things (or just pop a few in my mouth) or on a relish tray with pickles and other things. MMMMmmmmm tomatoes.

I love friut, veggies, of ALL kinds, whole grain things etc. I do eat too many carbs.. and just... too much. I like chicken and fish too...
