Tom Sawyer
Fastly approaching the big 40th. anniversary in May. Many of us can quote this film at the drop of a stetson. A classic that likely would have been even bigger had Star War not taken in on at the box office. fun facts are how many TA's and CB Radio sold after its release. Ancient Ways
This was really good for the era. Casting made the difference. Jackie Gleason, Jerry reed, Burt, and Sally had great chemistry. Then you had your copycats and there were a lot of them. Yiu mentioned CB radio. My grandfather got heavily into it and stayed active u til he died about 10 years later. Handle was Rufus. He talked to all the truckers passing throu Tampa.

I remember what fun it was to travel with him and use the CB, asking whether people "had their ears on" and what there "twenty" was. As for Smokey and the bandit being a classic? That's a big 10-4!
