toddlimelight Posted January 26, 2017 Share Posted January 26, 2017 That's a tough one. I'd have to say side 1. Natural Science is the best song on the album, and one of their greatest songs ever. Probably my number 2 favorite song from them. Side two is a little weaker overall though with Different Strings bogging it down. Side 1, all classics......heavy and bad ass tunes! Classic Rush! Maybe my favorite song from anyone. But, as an album side, I'd have to go with Side 1 of PeW. Jacobs Ladder does nothing for me but side 2 has Different Strings and it likewise does nothing for me. Side 2 does have Entre Nous which is wonderful but not on the same plane as TSOR. It also has Natural Science but its just a good song. Now if we were talking about a live version of Natural Science, that would be a different matter. Live the song is great. But studio its just good. So the worst work on Side one is no worse that the worst work on side 2 and the best material on side 1 is better than the best work on side 2. So side one gets my vote.
