He was really underrated. His most recent work with ncis Los Angeles was very good. Also a big fan of his dad. His work in the Caine mutiny was brilliant.

Yeah his dad was really good and he had theatrical style with a touch of flamboyance. I remember him as Captain Nemo in the Return of Captain Nemo (1978), Moulin Rouge as Toulouse-Lautrec and Herod in the Greatest Story Ever Told.

RIP :rose:

Like others have said, he was awesome in Twin Peaks. According to IMDB, he's credited in the first episode of the new Twin Peaks season, about to be shown this year.

And, of course, he was great in Robocop

My mom and I watch Hot Shots: Part Deux every Christmas (weirdest tradition ever) and he's hilarious in that. Really a prolific character actor. I can't say I knew his name, but he was everywhere, always immediately recognizable.

Rest in Peace, Harbinger.

Love that comedy even more than the 1st. I saw Blank Check in junior high on video and he was a bright spot as the villain. RIP

I remember him as the smartass 'ladder climber' in the first Robocop, saw the Twin Peaks stuff, and tons of stuff up until his NCIS: LA tour, in which you could tell, if you watched carefully that he was going down....a damned shame. R.I.P. man! :rose:
