How did it happen?If I remember Time Stand Still well enough, he met with Geddy & Alex in Toronto to discuss plans for the band's future. He wanted to tell them he was going to retire, but Alex apparently "laid a guilt trip" about his arthritis and how he'd like to tour one last time before it robs him of the ability to use his hands. Neil gave in and agreed to R40, and that night in his hotel room he said he had a case of "Tourette's", meaning he likely stomped around his hotel room cursing a storm.
