Toph Posted January 18, 2017 Share Posted January 18, 2017 (edited) I did a cover of me playing Alex Lifeson part over the original audio stems of Geddy and Neil playing YYZ (I did the keyboard part as well but the less said about that the better). I stuck this up on youtube if anyone wants to take a look (you may have to copy and paste link into youtube) I choose YYZ as it is a great instrumental, the singer in our band isn't the biggest Rush fan unfortunately. I am going to have a go at a couple more songs, our bass player is excellent and a Rush fan and has agreed to play on them. Might have a bigger challenge talking our drummer into it!Anyone else out there with video of them covering Rush songs and why did you choose the song to cover?
