My daughter is in Tahoe with her boyfriend so I'm home alone tonight having my OZZY OSBOURNE ROCK FEST!

The benefits of being single and alone on a weeknight!!!

Blasting the double disc version of "Diary Of A Madman" tonight!

The live disc is EPIC! (pun intended) CBS right? Was JET RECORDS!

Anyway enough useless rock industry knowledge.

After hearing the live disc there is no doubt in my mind that Randy Rhoads blew Tony Iommi away on the old Black Sabbath Cannon!

Do you agree or disagree?

I'm "So Tired" of Polls! LOL!

So this is just a thread.

Love,

JAKE E LEE

(I think Jake is better than Tony)

Yet duh....

I know Iommi is a fukkingn LEGEND. I love him too.

Earl why diss on Tony Iommi? Both are good, it doesn't always have to be either or. Iommi rules and so does Randy. I don't feel the need to choose one over the other.

That's not really a rip buddy!

I know.

Different generations of Guitar Greatness.

Perhaps being a younger heavy metalist I prefer the flash of Randy Rhoads!

I wouldn't say I would dis Tony.

Perhaps "Blow away" is harsh.

But at the end of the day I write these things to stir the pot and rock the f***ing boat of METAL.

Apples to oranges is such a cliche on here.

The pioneer vs the red hot kid.

Randy's guitar speaks to my soul.

Iommi is a riff shredding master of Legend.

Randy moves me Pat.

It's my personal taste that ignites my eternal soul.

Tony doesn't do it for me that way.

"It's a matter of opinion."

Signed,

Les Claypool

Two totally different guitarists coming from such different places. Tony basically invented the genre he played accidentally while randy was excellent but apparently didn't care for the genre at all and had plans to leave metal behind when he died. Love them both though
