Good one!

I voted Aerosmith's Kings And Queens over A Farewell To Kings in that other poll ... What do you think, I going to go against Aerosmith in the prime over AC/DC the year after the band died ??

Aerosmith album, song, match

I wish I liked Aerosmith more. I've tried, but they just don't do it for me, beyond a few hits..

Other than Kings and Queens, their stuff does nothing for me either. And their work from the 80s on is complete shit.

As for AC/DC...:haz:

Back in Black is so fu**ing overhyped album and Back in Black is so fu**ing overhyped and overused song!

Not only OVERHYPED, but also the most commercial album in the rock history.

Do you know how many copies sold BiB in the US alone and how many worldwide?

Commercial success doesn't mean an album sucks.

I gotta tell ya, this is a really difficult decision.

Songwise, I'll go with "Back in the Saddle". Great groove and massive six-string bass drive the song to being among Aerosmith's very best songs.

Albumwise, I'll go with Back in Black. Rocks is Aerosmith's masterpiece, IMHO. But Back in Black transcends its creators and its fanbase. It's one of "those" albums.

Yeah, it is one of "those" albums, viz. it is the best-selling rock album of all time(second-best selling in general after Thriller), it is one of the best marketed rock albums, it is one of the most OVERPRODUCED rock albums, it is one of the most overexposed rock albums to the worldwide public and it is an album which contains two songs that are well-known to the 80% of the world's population. The album Rocks doesn't come close to this statistics of BiB.
