I watched it and I am not impressed much. A mediocre movie, and the plot could be a lot better.
Your opinions?

I really love Resident Evil 356.

On a serious note...this one had potential. The story could have been fun...but from what I've read this is just so boring.

I don't get why anyone bothers tbh

Yeah I can't think of even any decent ones.

I'm surprised there hasn't been one made of Space Invaders. I don't want it and there've been plenty of alien invasion flicks but I'm still surprised one hasn't been made.

A bunch of adult acquaintances were discussing it and really seemed to enjoy it.  I was very confused.

As a non-video game person I enjoyed the first couple of Resident Evil movies. Lara Croft: Tomb Raider wasn't bad either although I have no interest in watching it again. I'd revisit the RE movies, even the later sequels before I'd watch LC:TR again. I remember liking Mortal Kombat when it came out although I doubt I'd like it as much now if I watched it. Silent Hill was by far the best movie I've seen based on a video game. Part of that might be because it's in the horror genre, which the RE movies also fall under. Assassin's Creed looks like a horrible, overly CGIed movie.

I haven't really been into video games since the 90s (when the first Silent Hill game was new). Though that movie started out well, I think the last half or third wasn't enjoyable.

I saw one of the Resident Evil flicks. But I forgot which one and I remember it not being that good either.

I saw part of Mortal Kombat but couldn't get very far as it was way too cheesy.

THE worst movie adaptation of a video game must be House of the Dead. It's an Uwe Boll movie. That says everything.
