Darth Vader is just a whiny brat with bad fashion sense.

The prequels lessened the character, but Rogue 1 has undone that damage.

Watching Rogue 1 in t-minus 5 minutes.

I enjoyed Rogue 1. But I can't help but imagine Hayden Christensen under that helmet. The damage can't be undone!

Wow. Tough choice but I think I'm going to give the edge to Empire. Han is my favorite character next to Leia.

What they need to do is come out with a couple movies that fill the 20 year gap between episodes three and four. Showing the rise of the Empire and no doubt Vader being an evil badass destroying things would be great. It would probably help to erase the damage to his character that some people think happened with the prequel.

I think Vader needed to be a spoiled, entitled, whiney brat in order for him to make his turn. They could have certainly picked someone better than Hayden but I guess they wanted young Anakin to be good looking over being a good actor.

My picks for the poll are Empire and Vader.

I will always love Trek more than Wars. I believe it to be superior in its writing and its success as a mirror to hold up to our society has been largely unparalleled.

Star Wars is more fun, but has never been particularly meaningful.

That being said, the Star Wars movies are FAR superior. Trek sucks at writing movies that compare in any way to Star Wars. Empire easily wins this.

Star Wars is the best at what it does do, and what it does is amazing visual adventure.
Which is more nerdy?
As my avatar indicates, Firefly forever!

I haven't voted yet but I'm thinking Empire Strikes Back and Ricardo as Khan. I think he's done the most with the least amount of screen time to develop his character...just the Star Trek original series Space Seed episode & the one movie.

Oh, Firefly was a good one.

So much potential was there. It always sucks when a show is cancelled before it's even given a chance.

There has never been a Star Wars geek who ever tried to hide that they're one. Most are very upfront about it. All you have to do is say "Star Wars" and they're off and won't shut up about it for a very long time. I know this because I am one.
