That was PAINFUL!

They should have given him some of his Nutty Professor serum, then interviewed him.

I didn't even know he was still working

I think actually having watched it all now, he just didn't like that interviewer and his crew. He was deliberately obtuse and doing as little as possible, mocking the guy's laughter, and he even said at the end when asked did he have any stories "Not for this." They may have done something or said something when they were setting up that made Jerry pissed. In fact there's even a little clip at the beginning in the intro where he says "What are you people doing, what are you doing?" Edited by treeduck

The questions weren't very substantive and challenging. It's quite possible Mr. Lewis felt he was wasting what time he has left on a meaningless interview.

I love his movies, watched them countless times as a kid. Why so grumpy???

That was kind of funny. The interviewer must have done something to make him mad before the interview. It's too bad he wasn't on David Letterman, I can just imagine how Dave would have handled it.

The interviewer should have asked about The Day the Clown Cried.

A very good response by Mr. Lewis.

30 minutes or so of footage made it to the internet several months ago. It looked good visually. Apparently, the tone and sentiment was entirely wrong. I would love to see it in its entirety.

The movie ends with the Jerry Lewis character leading children into a gas chamber. The movie was done in bad taste.

Harry Shearer said watching the movie is “like going down to Tijuana and seeing a painting on black velvet of Auschwitz.”
