Las Vegas Bettor Misses $100,000 NFL Parlay By ONE POINT

A man who bet $5 on a 15-leg parlay card at a William Hill sports book in Nevada needed the New England Patriots to win by more than seven points to win $100,000 on Monday.

Because the Patriots beat the Baltimore Ravens by exactly seven, 30-23, the result of the 15th game of the parlay, after the previous 14 had come through, was a push.

William Hill spokesman Michael Grodsky confirmed to ESPN that it was an all-or-nothing parlay card. As such, the push didn't reduce it to winning a 14-leg parlay; it made the entire card worthless.

I would have most probably soiled my pants in royal fashion....... :laughing guy: :laughing guy:

I can see the guy screaming for the Pats to go for two. Nothing better than watching pro football at a casino, for that reason.

He should have hedged. He could have put a ton of money on the Ravens at +7.5 (buying a half a point) and guaranteed himself a big profit.

This particular parlay ticket is fixed. No hedging, teasing or anything. You fill in specific circles like you do with a lottery ticket. It's all or nothing.

I play them when I visit Las Vegas. The best I've ever done is 8 out of 15......

I'd tell Gostowski he'd better watch his back but if he didn't miss the extra point it would've never went into OT in the first place.
