I feel that Vol 4 is the last great Sabbath album. For me, it was downhill after that.

Oh you're a fan of Vol 4, I must have misinterpreted your post.

 

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is a classic and along with Paranoid my favourite Sabbs album. There was no downhill on that album, not one bit.

 

Sabotage has mostly killer songs on it like Symptom of the Universe, Hole in the Sky, Megalomania, The Writ and The Thrill of if All. I also like Am I Going Insane (Radio) [Radio Rental is cockney slang for "mental" ie insane] even though it's not typical Sabbath and a bit of a pop song. I first heard it on We Sold Our Souls for Rock 'n' Roll. The other two bits are instrumentals that i can take or leave.

 

Technical Ecstasy and Never Say Die are not as good as the first 6 but are good underrated albums.
