Texas King
Which of these two thrash metal titans you prefer: MoP or RiP? Defo my choice will be Rust, because Dave Mustaine proved on this album that he is a superb musician and composer.
J2112YYZ
Rust In Peace. The guitar work on it is both insane and amazing at the same time.

Pressure/Hopenosis
MOP was the album that got me into thrash. If not for it I would have never touched RiP...

Just for that RIP wins!!! But both are soooooo goood.I've had a lot of friends that were huge fans of Megadeth. I've listened countless times. Albums all the way through. Songs they thought were Megadeth's best. Songs they thought that I'd be able to tolerate his voice. But I've never heard a single Dave vocal that I've liked. When he shuts up I usually like what I hear. Just for that, Megadeth loses.
Ancient Ways
James sounded like crap in kill em all but I give him credit for working on that and developing into a decent vocalist.
Mosher
Rust is a great album, but not great all the way through. The musicianship when it's on is superior to Master. Tornado of Souls is one of my favorite Megadeth songs. Holy Wars is a great showoff track that everyone seems to agree on. But Master is more consistent. It's the better album, and Master of Puppets (the song) is better that anything off Rust. Dave's voice has never bothered me, but I can easily see why it bugs others. It's an odd one.

Yeah its a bit ironic considering were all Rush fans ;)

Entre_Perpetuo
Rust In Peace, easily. Metallica get stale. Megadeth don't. So, you've heard both bands catalog now? No. But I did just get Countdown, and I have heard about half of Metallica's catalogue now. Just my opinion. I could've said that about Metallica before I'd ever heard one of their albums. They're just so ubiquitous they get stale easily. Megadeth sounds totally fresh to me.
