I thought this poll was done years ago.

Perhaps it was but is now erased.

I had a seventh row ticket to see Anderson Wakeman and Rabin tonight. Cancelled.

So I put on some very early Genesis tonight instead.

There is no doubt that the Genesis Canon blows away the YES stuff.

Although the Bruford YES kicks ass. "The Yes Album" is my fave.

But!!

Gabriel and Collins appeal to me more than the sometimes annoying Jon Annderson. Yet still a LEGEND.

There is no doubt that the Genesis catalog destroys the Yes library.

JMO

Hell, I even love "Calling All Stations."

But remember, I also love "Halloween III."

See the connection?

It's clear as crystal.

Don't need to explain.

If you are smart and have a brain, then you will understand me.

"Selling America By The Pound!"

Love it!

Whoops..

SCON!

SUCKS!

The Yes Album, Fragile, Close To The Edge are untouchable for me ...

I absolutely love Jon Anderson - everything about him - his voice, his demeanor, his way of writing ... And Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman are two of a handful of musicians I consider musical geniuses ... And Chris Squire is a one-of-a-kind innovative master ..

And Drama is a masterpiece

South Side Of the Sky .. c'mon ... it's untouchable

I want to see Phil Collins running amok in a Black Friday Sale situation. I want to see him poke the old man in the eye, punch the old lady in the eye, kick the teenage snotnose in the shins, bite the woman's thigh in the middle of a total scrum, all just so he can get his hands on the set of drill bits and the microwave grill/oven combo. :smoke:

They are both great but Genesis for me. From Trespass to CAS.

Yes is a bit more hit and miss, everything after Big Generator pretty much misses for me, aside from some of the Keys material and Fly From Here.

Looks like an illness caused the show to be postponed until 9 days from now.

GENSIS IS WAY ABOVE YES!

YES is a grade 2 level prog band. Wimpy vocalist. Annoying over many moments. Peter and Phil are great. Although Phil and Peter's solo shite bugs the fukk out of me. I'm in a quandary Shoot me now.

It's like once Bill Bruford left it was all over. LOL! I can't even keep a straight face typing this stuff. I love YES too. But man, Genesis blows Yes away.

Phil Collins > Alan White

LOL!

Phil blows White away!

Bruford and Collins? TIE? I HATE TIES! LOL!

If you followed my posts and polls tonight you would get that one.

Damn, I love entertaining myself on here.

Glad I get me.

GENESIS!!!

"Calling All Stations" is one of the greatest albums on the Earth.

Yes is a grade or two above Genesis.

No way! Howe doesn't even know how to lay down a structured guitar solo. He is all over the place. Hackett blows him the fukk away.

I'm not sure I know what you mean by "structured guitar solo".

I've seen Howe play live many times. In ASIA he was spot on.

I saw him in YES when KANSAS opened. STYX headlined.

His guitar playing was off. Totally out in left field.

On the record, sure he's a Legend. Melodic with his own style and tone but man.....

I just love typing shite to start a conversation.

I've seen Hackett a few times too.

Steve Hackett blows Steve Howe away! HACKETT TO PIECES!!!

LOVE

Hypocritically I love 90125 and The Big Generator.

Hence I was excited to see Anderson Wakeman Rabin!

Oh well....

Genesis still RULES!

Such a cool name AWR.

Too bad the anagram for such a peaceful loving Jon Angel Anderson would be so evil.

The band should be called.....

WAR
