In my world of late 60's-early 70's heavy rock, nothing beats the Mighty Zep.

Lately I've been growing obsessed with Led Zeppelin.

 

They win this for me!

Depending on my mood Sabbath and Purple can swap places.

It's very difficult for me and could change with the weather. Today i say sabbath, zep, purple with purple a distant third. Although zep is a lot deeper musically than sabbath, it was sabbath that got me into heavier music. My older brother loved them both (he was a drummer) but one of my earliest memories is him coming home from school, putting on paranoid and playing drums along with the album at volume levels so high it's still a little surprising he was allowed to do it,

I think Purple's three best albums are (in this order) Burn, Come Taste the Band and Stormbringer.
