And who is he? :S

Longtime bassist for the Rolling Stones. Was with them through all their best years. Retired form the band in like 1990 but was just as important to the band as any other member.

I dont like Rolling Stones... they are overrated in my opinion.

I got to see him with them on the Steel Wheels tour, in December of '89- I didn't realize that he left the band that soon after that.

(I saw the Stones again in '94, and I did know he was gone by then).

Big happy birthday!

Depends if you count 26 as young or not....

But what does that got to do with it?

He married a girl 34 years his junior. He was 52, She was 18. His son from a previous marriage married the mother of the 18 year old girl, making Bill Wyman his own step-grandfather.

He's fuckking out of his tiny mind!

He really ought to retire.

He looks like a mummy.

He has retired hasn't he?

i do apologize. I'm thinking of Charlie Watts.

What about KEEF??

He looks pretty bad. But his wife is beautiful. Well, she used to be. I haven't seen a picture of Patti recently.

I think if you grew up in the 60's 70's and were into rock music, you would appreciate The Rolling Stones. Keith Richards has written some of the most memorable riffs in rock.

I agree that after 50 years of writing music, they ain't what they used to be but looking back at their catalog of music, they are far from being overrated.

They were so damn good 1968 through 1972. Note perfect rock and roll.

Charlie Watts is the only one who's not a dirty old man. He has been married to the same woman since 1964.

I have a Rolling Stones story. For a short time I worked for a security company and I had a job guarding the patio of the restaurant where the Stones announced the Bridges to Babylon tour. They came out on the patio for photo-ops and the only one to acknowledge me was Charlie Watts. He said hello and asked if I was enjoying the day. True story.
