Didn't see either tour, but I'll give the nod to any tour in support on an album...so, Clockwork Angels.

Hi there!

Long-time lurker, first-time poster.
I'll second the TM tour. I saw the Ottawa "Bluesfest" show and it was a metric tonne of fun.
Marathon (which I'd never heard before) and Camera Eye were the standouts for me, but it was all pretty magical.
They sounded great, it was a beautiful summer night, the crowd was into it - a perfect concert!

I was also lucky enough to be right up close to Cheap Trick a few years later. And then the stage blew down.
Not so perfect! :)

Time Machine, because it did not have 9 songs from CA in the setlist

Time Machine by far. Too bad the DVD didn't live up to the quality of the tour.

Time Machine. I saw them at the PNC Bank Arts Center and they were on fire. Kick ass performance and energy.

Rush is the best.

The Time Machine Tour was my first concert, and I'll always cherish the memory of hearing the MSG crowd roar when The Spirit of Radio started up.  But Geddy sounded better at the Newark Clockwork Angels show, and that show had Dreamline and Red Sector A.  So it's kind of a tie.

Of course, R40 was better than both tours, but there's no option for that one.

Time Machine, no contest, and I also lament the fact that a quality DVD does not exist.
